Phatties Patty's n Tacos: Authentic, Flavor-Packed Burgers & Tacos in New Bern

my fiancé and i just came in, met with lovely smiles and great customer service. My memory is awful but the lovely young lady at the front who assisted us was very sweet and welcoming. The environment was great!! The food was affordable, delicious, and filling! I have stomach issues but their food was very comforting!! the chipotle sauce is AMAZING! would 1000% eat here again, 10/10 experience.

Man, the food here is so good. We had the 5 tacos for 15, which were delicious and huge. Also had a burger and fries which were tasty. The atmosphere is very authentic, with some cool art, comfy seating, and very kind employees. Go check this place out and support local!

Was a little iffy when I read the name of the restaurant but this is why you don’t Judge a Book by the Cover. Inside looked so freaking clean. Staff was super friendly. And the Food was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! I had a Burger which was made to perfection, Fries that were super crispy and some amazing flavorful Wings. I love finding Mom n’ Pop shops like this and Will definitely come back when I’m in town again.

This is by far the best burger in town. You can tell its owners are genuinely good people making genuinely good food. Count us in as weekly regulars. Best hush puppies and cheese curds too!

Stepping into this spot, I was ready for some serious comfort food, and it did not disappoint. The loaded fries were a feast for the eyes and the stomach. They came with a generous helping of tender, juicy pork that was seasoned with a smoky Cajun blend. The sauce was tasty and there were even some fresh tomatoes and delicious, crumbly cotija cheese on top. The portion was huge—definitely enough to share (if you're feeling generous!). But the star of the show was the Phattie burger. It was everything a good burger should be: juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned. It had a flawless sear on the outside, and the inside was a beautiful medium with just the right amount of pink. The savory house sauce, along with the fresh lettuce, tomato, and onion, all came together in perfect harmony. Every bite was absolutely packed with flavor. This is one of the best burgers I've had in a long time!

Came here on a Tuesday and they were having a great Taco Tuesday sale. Fantastic flavor and great portion sizing. Very good deal. We came back to try their burgers and were not disappointed. Both the turkey burger and the beef burger were perfectly made and delicious. We also had the phuppies which were probably the best hush puppies we’ve had in a while and the butter was great. We were greeted by a lovely gentlemen, who we assume is the owner, both times and he was phenomenal in ensuring our experience was great. You can tell he takes pride in the food he serves. Would recommend. Looking forward to see how they evolve and grow as a restaurant.
